Local Organic Farmers Market or even Organic at Trader Joe's is actually cheaper than the non organic store bought veggies.

katiana, i cannot believe you're buying into this. our food contamination comes from monsanto, tyson et al not the local homegrown! i shudder to think of the world my daughter will grow up in when intelligent people like yourself can't see a problem with the most orwellian legislation yet. they just won't be happy until you rely on them for your protection, food, healthcare, water, housing and eventually the air you breathe

i started reading this thread because i thought for a change our president was doing something positive as an example of how to grow your own and perhaps be healthier and save some bucks during this time. now i'm just depressed.

That law seems to be another agribusiness giveaway and protection act. I doubt if it is even vaguely Constitutional as it seems to be a private taking without compensation. I will contact my legislators. Thanks for the warning.

Well, remember when the 1.6 gal toilet first came out, you had to flush them twice for them to work, and they often clogged.

But you're right, and I'm on a well, so I couldn't care less how much water I use. My well produces plenty of water.

Go to the Welcome to the White House site and write your email.
It's simple enough to do.

Oh I am sure she is "planting" her garden. You can look at her and see she has never lifted a finger her entire life.

It's easy to do these things on the tax payers dime. Why didn't she do this when she had her own home in Chicago?

This is just a way for them to keep the tree huggers in love with them.

Maybe she should work on getting Barry to quit smoking!
