It doesn't matter what their purpose is. To free a country, to get oil, etc, whatever. Wars have casualties (people who were killed) and the soldiers are the cause of it. Whether they are fighting in a war that is unnecessary or not, they are still hired killers. Ever seen Full Metal Jacket? If you kill, you're a killer. A good cause doesn't change that. The Civil War freed the people of my race. Still doesn't change the fact that both sides were hired killers.

Sorry to hear about your cousin.

He was a true hero.

But seriously, you have go to stop living your life in fear like this. Nothing and I repeat nothing is going to happen to you. Dont be so worried. I know you dont like him. It happens. We did not like Bush, sure we talked and discussed about how we did not like him. You can too. But don't like your life in fear the way you do.

The threads you post here...and way you are crying...

To me this isn't even a Republican or Democrat thing anymore. It is a human thing. I am not telling you to let go of your fear because I support Obama. I just dont like it when people do that

I hope you feel better. Dont cry.

They get none from me. They have not sacrificed a damn thing "for me" except in their delusional brains. Their sacrifices have been collected and spent by the crew of thugs and gangsters in Washington, for motives and ends of which the pitiful soldiers have no clue.

That's so nearsighted. Sad that you don't recognize how precarious our freedoms and way of life in America are, and how important it is to guard and protect freedom when there are real threats and political powers that would like to take it from us.

I also cried for my cousin Chad who died in Iraq last year, one of the best Americans you will ever meet. Raised in a small town in Nebraska, we travelled together to Europe and Asia in 2000 and I remember telling Chad about how grateful and proud I felt to call the USA home, truth is, there is no country like the USA! My cousin truly loved this country and he talked about making the ultimate sacrifice if necessary because he believed 100% in what America stands for: Freedom, Liberty and Pursuit of Happiness, and sure enough he did not make the sacrifice for some stupid Socialist, Communist, Big Government Third World tyranny like what these people are trying to establish.

We both loved country music and he told me that if he ever died to always remember a verse of one of his favorite songs, Chicken Fried by Zac Brown Band, this verse defines the true American he was:

I Thank God for my life
And for the stars and stripes
May freedom forever fly, let it ring
Salute the ones who died
And the ones that give their lives,
so we don't have to sacrifice
All the things we love

Tyranny is short lived and freedom will always prevail! I cried today for the country I love.
A crying conservative is a good thing.

No, DUH, I just PRESENTED the repubs view, I NEVER "made sure anyone was going to do anything, liar!

""Geez....I thought we had to offer something better than the discredited ideas of the past.""

Geez, I thought you could post without insults...what nasty potshots!

""This is exactly what has gotten us into the mess we're in now. Each side taking pot shots at the other side rather than attempting to show them how much better we can be. Just look at the state of our political campaigns.....it's rarely not about how good I as a candidate am, but rather how bad, nasty and awful my opponent is.

Stop trying to be as stupid and dense as the neighbors and start thinking for the betterment of all rather than "how can I get back at the other side".

Geez....we need to get out of this mess and this attitude is exactly what got us into this mess and will keep us here if we don't grow up.

I voted for change (Obama) and assuming you supported him too, it's people like you that must drive him crazy and just make his job so much tougher.
So help me understand your total lack of any logic whatsoever....I was responding to a post which had responded to yet another post.
If you don't like my posts ignore them...
