We all know that this forum has become overwhelmingly anti-Obama..

If he breaths at the wrong rate - he is criticized...

Just wondering how people feel about the true voice that this segment of the population has over the direction of the country today...

Have they lost all political influence as a result of the extreme failure of the Bush administration and the failed economic policies of Reagan???

Just wondering what the posters on this forum think...

I personally think this forum has attracted a very disproportionate share of extreme right wingers - so I don't expect this poll to be very accurate - it will probably slant towards them having a lot more clout than they actually do...

But - it will be interesting to see what happens... I'll check back later this afternoon when I'm having my first brew!!!

The anti Obama crowd makes a lot of noise..but in the country as a whole, they're in the distinct minority:

Gallup Daily: Obama Job Approval

Approve-64%

Disapprove-26%

They have no clout left outside of these forums and their usual venues. All one has to do is look at how they're screaming about the most ridiculous things (a teleprompter comes to mind). They're trying to do everything they can to convince us that Obama was a mistake...but until they come up with some ideas of their own they're going to remain irrelevant. I guess thats why all they can do is hate, because they have offered no alternatives. Hey conservatives when are your going to contribute some ideas???

The anti Obama crazies remind me of children...they didn't get their way this past Nov. so now they're stomping their feet and whining, looking for attention.

They don't have any ideas, they just want to be reassured that they remain relevant...however, truth be told...they're really not.

I absolutely and totally disagree... there are many more Obama Haters on this forum than Obama supporters.

All one has to do is look at the threads that exist in this and the Politics forums...

They run overwhelmingly against Obama.... and on extremely trivial and ridiculous grounds too.

Especially their elected officials!! All this sudden concern for defecit spending because its no for the wealthy in this country. Further proof is their outrage over the attempt to recover the bonus money.

It's almost as if the Republicans suddenly got religion 63 days ago...

They went from spending like drunken sailors for 8 long years, to being superstar fiscal conservatives....

ROFLMAO!!!

Do they think anyone other than some extreme right wing types will take them seriously???

VERY VERY VERY true!

I wondered the same thing.

How come Republicans did not care when Bush was spending massively? Now when Barack is trying to *help* middle class/poor, they have their panties up in knots?

Well all, I guess we have proof that we are not dealing with free thinkers. The right seems to have deleted their post and ignoring this thread.

I guess they're consistent..they boycotted finding solutions for the countries problems, they boycotted admission of the problems until they were no longer in charge. They then boycotted other peoples solutions to our problems.

I'm glad they have once shown us all why they were thrown out of office. So how do they expect to be taken serious??
