I think so... The American People see President Obama as a rock solid decision maker and he is attacking the challenges head on. He thrives on Multi-Tasking as he was when he was a community organizer. My guess is that most American view the GOP as an Obstructionist Party and is bankrupt of ideas. They use the same old tricks fear and obstruction as their tactic. I believe that the GOP will lose even more seats in 2010 in both branches of government. Of course if you have a Southern drawl you might be safe but you never know...

Apparently, Obama can't come up with anything better than GOP ideas - he's going with the Bush administration's 'cash for trash' bank plan.
Krugman: "Tim Geithner, the Treasury secretary, has persuaded President Obama to recycle Bush administration policy — specifically, the “cash for trash” plan proposed, then abandoned, six months ago by then-Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson. This is more than disappointing. In fact, it fills me with a sense of despair." http://www.nytimes.com/2009/03/23/opinion/23krugman.html?_r=2&ref=opinion
The economy is sooo screwed up that multiple approaches will be likely be necessary before finding something that works best. I dont expect Obama to be a miracle worker and there is certainly room for improvement in regards to fixing the mess we are in. Unfortunately Republicans are only around to shriek and wail and Democrats will have to fix it by themselves.

You're off. Using Bush's plan is not Democrats 'fixing it by themselves' - it's Democrats unable to come up with anything better by themselves. And exactly where is 'shriek and wail' in Bush's 'cash for trash' plan? You know, the one that Geithner and Obama think is so good that they aren't coming up with anything else?
How out of touch are you? In my office, people are taking abuse for being big Obama supporters and others are hanging their heads in shame for voting for him. Seems to be the case all over too.
Real American People, like the folks that Silly Sarah gravitates to? In other words knuckle dragging fire breathing God Fearing true blue rednecks...
Nope, many of them are city-dwelling atheists/agnostics and wouldn't know a plow from a tractor. They are the same thing right?
