By Chase Martyn 3/23/09 3:50 PM Iowa voters are already getting phone calls about Sarah Palin, the Alaska governor and former GOP vice presidential nominee who became a household name during last year’s election, reports the Alaska blog The Mudflats (http://www.themudflats.net/2009/03/19/palin-is-robo-polling-iowa-and-new-hampshire-let-the-games-begin/ - broken link). The blog posted an approximate transcript of the calls, in which an automated voice asked listeners poll questions:
Ugh, I hate her. I really do. I am sick of her. I am sick of everything she represents. If the republicans go with her, I think that will signal a permanent divide within the rep party. Those actual conservatives will abandon a sinking ship leaving only the holy rollers and liberals in conservative clothing.

Palin was the only conservative on the ballot. If not for her, the liberal McCain would have lost by 70-30.
If Palin decides to run for President, she has a primary to win first, and she will be eaten alive by her fellow GOP'ers. She knows, as a white woman, that's the "new face" of the GOP.
Palin, Jindal, and Steele. All tokens.
Let her run, please do. That irritating, grating voice will drive the rest of the GOP crazy. It will be fun to watch.
