Was his teleprompter not working again? Is this guy actually in touch with what is going on with the country? Or is he just pushing his own agenda?

I am wondering how much other countries (what he was so worried about in his campaign) are laughing at us now. This was a pathetic display and some changes in his leadership and abilities are in order.
I agree. It was painful to watch, and I too was embarrassed for our country. The guy is just a blithering idiot. He just rambles on and on. Did he even answer any questions? I'm not sure he even understood some of the questions.

This is why he needs a teleprompter for everything. He can't think on his feet. I think he knew the questions in advance, too, as he had (apparently) a list of names he was to call on. If you weren't on that list, you didn't get to ask a question.

Selective memory, no doubt.
George W. Bush wasn't stupid, and he could speak. His press conferences were always good, and he answered the questions intelligently.

Bush didn't babble, and he didn't stammer and stutter, and he didn't need a teleprompter. Some of Bush's speeches were the best I've ever heard from a President, and they were expertly delivered.

Big blue screen, about 3'X4' with white lettering scrolling from bottom to top...that's a teleprompter, NO? Maybe they're just calling it something else....
Maybe they ran cartoons after Obama was finished talking?

What? Lol.
That is hilarious.

Y'know, many conservatives on this forum complain about Bush being brought up more than they'd like. I'd bet that if the bush defenders (like the above quote) didn't make such ridiculous statements and admitted the guy was not fit to be president, there'd be less need to post evidence demonstrating his incompetence.

There was a time when I was young that it became popular among some of my friends to say "You know, that Farrah Fawcett really isn't all that good looking."

They were lying through their teeth, and so is everyone on this thread making the demonstrably false claim that President Obama is less than a terrific speaker, either on the teleprompter or off.

Just thing about it all you whiners - you sound just like lying little children.

What does that say about you?
Bush constantly lied and was very stupid. You be the lone ranger heah. Maybe said that way, you will understand.

For once, I'm speechless.

Well, he obviously didn't impress the EU lastnight. The EU even acknowledging that the U.S. is on a "Path to Hell" under Obama's plans and even worse, Geithner says he has an open mind to China's suggestion of a global currency.

At least try to stay in reality. It was one guy - not speaking for the EU. That's like saying "even the Governors hated it" while pointing to that idiot Jindal as your source.

Wow, this must be an old post I've stumbled across. Are you watching old tapes of Bush?
