So what are you saying? That because a private citizen has been vocal in his criticisms of elected officials (public servants) the those very same public servants are justified in going after him? I know that you'll probably say that if one is going to dish it out that he should be able to take it as well, but that does not (or rather should not) apply when you consider that one side of this equation is in a position of public servitude and has the full power of the government behind him.

The use of government power and influence to target and go after specific individuals who do not agree with you is a key aspect of fascism. Other key traits of fascism include nationalization of financial institutions, control of mass media ("Fairness" Doctrine), subordination of self interest to the state, centralized economic planning, and the leadership of a charismatic figure (cult of personality). Sound familiar?

Oh, and before you go and say that Bush and the republicans didn't exhibit other traits of fascism - such as militarism - let me just go on record as saying that this is true as well.

The bottom line is that both parties have contributed to making the country more and more of a fascist state, all the while pointing at the other guys as an example of how things could be worse. That this is all coming to fruition at this particular time should come as no surprise to anyone who has been paying attention and has not fallen for the lie that republicans and democrats are actually two separate parties.

Just in case no one out there knows who uses this kind of language, they don't let morons into Harvard, they also don't let them be professors. The last 8 years proves they will let morons in the White House however.
Uh, Bush went to both Harvard and to Yale.

What was that about how Obama is not a moron because he went to Harvard and they don't let morons into Harvard?

This isnt about lowering Limbaugh's ratings...

It's about tying a disliked right wing blowhard to the Repubican Party.

And it's worked....Obama's approval ratings are high....Dem's Congressional approval is 3 times what Repbulican Congressional approval ratings are.

More Americans self identify as Democrats than anytime since the 1970's.

I hope they keep it up....Rush is a draft dodging, pill popping, limp Moderator cut: language, blow hard AND the de facto leader of the fake Conservatives who have taken over the GOP.
And laughing all the way to the bank!

Most of his listeners lack the critical thinking skills necessary to know this, hence, they are called "dittoheads"
Talking points, not facts. I know it is a minor difference to Obamatrons. That is what Obama was elected on talking points not facts. Just shows you how dumbed down American is. It is not substance, but delivery that matters. Sad, sad, sad, the sheep have finally won.
