The number of Americans who say they pay to much in taxes is at a 45 year record low. BTW the number of Americans saying the amount of taxes they pay is fair is also at a record high.
Most of Obama's staunchest voting blocs were college students, blacks, the unemployed, and the homeless. Oh and unions, and their members were no doubt forced to go just like in communist Cuba. Obama's electorate just doesn't have a busy schedule during the day - unlike most entreprenurial conservatives.
Union members supporting the DNC is a joke. Sure, the DNC receives significant contributions from Unions, but Union households barley vote 59% Democrat, and only represent 12% of the entire voter base. College students also vote Republican quite frequently, so once again what who you lump together...
Next issue, what were the final numbers for all the tea parties combined? I found it to be strange that organizers sought big turnouts yet planned the events on a work day . It was also a bit ridiculous to have so many of the events in extremely close proximity to each other (especially in California..).

I would consider 75,000 to be a pretty good turnout.. And aside from that, where are you getting that figure..?

Face the hard truth. Nutjobs tea bagging each other isn't going to get any traction. That's why their turn out was so utterly dismal.
Considering we are in the middle of a recession, and with unemployment so high, it makes you wonder who all is paying these taxes to a point they consider them "low".. Must be just the rich folks because the only thing the rest of us can do is visit our local Army recruiting office...
Obama rallies were always in big, liberal cities, filled with unoin members, homeless, blacks, and bums. These were Obama's staunchest voting blocks. Naturally, it was easier for Obama to pull a bigger crown - more of "His kind" (unions, blacks, bums, uber-liberal college grads) live in the city! In fact, a LOT more.
Most people who are level headed (and actually pay taxes) live outside the urban core that Obama is so used to frequenting.

You're racist stuff aside...the teabaggers events were mainly in right wing conservative areas supposedly across the country.
This "teabagger" event..Is this some sort of pornographic gay rights event? I suppose it must have been some failed get together because I don't even know what it's all about or what point these people were trying to make.
This rally wasn't really about numbers. It was about anti-BIG gov't ideology. There are enough exampes worldwide of how BIG gov't has crushed industrial economies by simply sitting on them.
You might have a point except, according to you, all the conservatives are too busy at work to take part. But, come to think of it, it they're all working in this economy, that would make them a part of the 'BIG gov't ideology'?
Some great pics and placards from the Chi-town party.
I was there.
