So first place is --- CAPITALISM.
(Not that capitalism doesn't have its good points...it's just that down through the ages it's caused a lot of "body count" too.)
Life is not as black and white as you seem to think.
And sure I would be friends with a communist or a liberal or a right wing conservative. To be friends means to get along in the world and treat others as you would wish to be treated. Not to become a clone of that person.
I thought Obama was supposed to end the wars and their cost and yet he's NOW pledging a $7.5 billion "down payment" to Pakistan. He just keeps spending and will end up quadrupling the nation's budget according to the AP.
