In reality, the problem isnt a lack of revenue to the government, its a surplus of spending.. You could tax everyone half their income and not pay for the proposed spending going on in Washington..

Flat 10% Across the board would be far more effective than any cut or raise.

Instead of spending billions of tax dollars on programs, just send every American 1 million dollars and let them spend or invest it. But then the politicans would lost the power over the people. It would only take 300 million dollars.

But of course then the result would be raging inflation and we would be back to square one again. But, I'd take the million
