Faux News only continues to lead in the ratings because their propaganda telecasts appeal to only one specific ideology (extreme right wing)...Meanwhile, for the most part, MSNBC and CNN's audience is split up among the rest of us normal people.

Quote:
CNN is poised to finish March third in the prime-time weeknight ratings behind Fox News Channel and MSNBC, the first time this has ever happened for the channel that pioneered the cable news genre nearly three decades ago.
And they said liberal talk wouldn't work...BillO the clown laughed at Olberman and Maddow, now he's become frustrated because they're not going away.

Quote:
MSNBC chief executive Phil Griffin said the prime-time ratings are an affirmation of the network's decision to go liberal with Olbermann and Maddow.

O riley is still far ahead in being the #1 talkinghead. They all aim at the maddening crowds.

Why would anyone watch NBC or CNN when they know that these networks have left wing political agendas?

America's media became less credible as objective reporters. All in the effort to get Barack elected.

Now that no one wants to watch these "news" networks -- they will fail. But, Obama will use your tax burden to bail them out. He will actually use your tax money to bail out left wing media outlets.

What a surprise.

Let's see, a little math.

1.16
1.14
2.30

2.73-2.30=.43

So Fox News has a .43 lead on 2nd and 3rd combined? Wow I guess Fox News is so far ahead that even combining the 2nd and 3rd most watched cable news shows thet still wipe the floor with them. And you want us to believe that only right wingers watch Fox News. Now that is funny!

Fox remains on a mountain above its two closest competitors, with its prime-time audience in March more than that of MSNBC and CNN combined. "The O'Reilly Factor" has done particularly well, keeping more of its postelection audience than anything else on CNN and MSNBC.

Through Wednesday, Fox was averaging 2.73 million prime-time viewers in March. MSNBC had 1.16 million and CNN had 1.14 million. The March ratings period ends Friday, and it's doubtful CNN will be able to overcome MSNBC.

A Rasmussen Poll (http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/election_20082/2008_presidential_election/news_you_watch_says_a_lot_about_how_you_ll_vote - broken link) taken last August showed that 87% of Faux News viewers already planned to vote for McCain. So, yes...the Faux News audience is made up of virtually all right wingers.

Now that is brilliant. You think anyone that would vote for McCain is a right-winger? Oh that is so funny. It shows that most left-wingers are clueless.

BTW I did not vote for McCain, he is too liberal for me.

BTW I don't watch Fox News unless some special guest is coming to one of their industry leading shows.

BTW you are wrong if you think McCain voters are right-wingers anymore than everyone that voted for Obama are left-wingers. Get a clue!

Most right wingers, after a lot of beefing, swallowed their pride (as those on the right are apt to do) and voted for McCain....you are an exception. However, if it will make you feel any better, I will amend my claim to say..that the Faux News audience is made up of virtually all Republicans

Btw, often, but not always, the combination of CNN and MSNBC defeats Faux News, particularly among the 25-54 demographic. I also find it interesting that viewership of MSNBC is up 120% over the same period 4 years ago.

BTW I watch more MSNBC/CNN than Fox, not because I like it more but I actually prefer to see how the left-wing think that the right-wing. I also find it more entertaining. Keith and Rachel are like watching a train wreck about to happen. You really know you should not look but you can't help it, the gore of it all. I guess I just prefer to see people with opposite opinions than mine give theirs. I want to understand a little about where the left are coming from. I have many friends that are the same.

When it comes to radio it is more the Dennis Prager, Bill Bennet types I listen to, more moderate.

I don't by any means consider myself right-wing but I am a conservative and always will be. I happen to not like politics and general because I see them both through non-partisan eyes. We have major problems in American politics and will continue unless more people take off their party hats and do what is best for the country.

My thoughts exactly when I watch Bill-O the clown and Hannity. It's great to watch them sweat. Let me adjust your post:
