I'm weary of them. FOX News and the Limbaughs and Hannitys of the world are just sick freakazoids. But the liberal news media are no less attention whores. HuffingtonPost, for example. Every day, they have this big HUGE headline, in blazing red letters, meant to sensationalize and cause concern. Right now, it's: AMERICA CHALLENGED, with a subtitle indicating ominous violence to come. It's sickening. And what's with the talking heads proliferation on television? My god, if I had to listen to myself talk that much every damn day, I'd be bored to tears. And yet they just LOVE it: from Hannity to Maddow--blah,blah,blah,blah,blah. A bunch of ratings whores. The whole damn lot of them should be completely ignored.

Thank you for your time.

This country has a very idiotic media indeed, who came up with this stupid format where everytime they report something, they have to bring on some "expert" to talk about it, most of the time those experts just state the obvious anyways. And who came up with the idea that news have to be "entertaining"? FOX News is good at making the news entertaining in a very stupid way sometimes. I like the news from CBC (Canada) and BBC, they just report the news in a serious way, that is it, no circus, drama or BS like we do here.

It all reminds me of the classic Jack Nicholson line

" I have never lied to you. I've always told you some version of the truth."

I do like the BBC and some of the internet radio news shows. There's one I get from Ireland and that's along the same lines as the BBC..report the news with no sensationalism about it.

Yes, the BBC is good. I also like watching Bill Moyers on Friday nights.

Hannity, Rush, etc, are not news programs as such, nor do they claim to be. They are political commentary. While I do listen occasionally, what frustrates me is just how much you learn on those programs that isn't covered in the mainstream news programs on any of the networks. The evening national news on all the networks is pathetic, more coverage of the latest sports scores or entertainment news than what's going on in the country and the world.

I'm starting to like NPR, there is some in-depth info once you filter out the leftest crap they sometimes spew. I'd like to find one decent news station that actually reported news, rather than editorialized it.

It my not be covered because it is pure fabrication and twisting of facts trying to get them to spin.

What you mean is that NPR is truly the one media outlet which is Fair and Balanced.
