It's apparent that liberals should be in charge of America's national security.
America could bring our troops home from all foreign soil, close our military bases worlwide (including those within our borders), open our borders to whomever wishes to come, abolish all armament and guns, and relinquish American sovereignty to the United Nations.
Let the United Nations take care of those pesky little problems posed by various little nuke-seeking dictators around the world. Knowing that the United Nations is in charge should make everyone sleep better at night, since it has been such a bastion of success thus far.

Obama, the billions we are wasting in Iraq and Afganistan could get our economy going again and avoid the depression.
The billions spent fighting two wars have contributed to the National Debt, but have been beneficial to our economy through the defense related jobs they've created. You wanna see layoffs? Tell the defense business-folk they no longer have a war effort to support and see how fast Johnny comes home with a pink slip.

Please don't take the writings seriously. The last thing we need is to have our national security in the hands of liberals. We couldn't manufacture white flags quickly enough for them.

It has made rich men in some of the defense contractors, but the 'product' is a mass of corpses and destroyed Iraqi infrastructure - when the same jobs here in America would have built new bridges, roads, schools, hospitals, etc,

These wars should have been stopped. We have to borrow money from another countries to fight these 2 wars and that does not make any sense at all. Furthermore, especially the war in Iraq, it was based on a faulty CIA report and there was no weapons of mass destruction and there was no evidence that the Iraqi leaders were linked to 9/11 attacks. More than 4000 GI's died...What else I should say beside bringing the troops home?
If fighting the wars is good for the economy, then don't you think we should start bombing Russia already? Not to mention when the ICBM's started to "land" anywhere in the U.S., that would keep a lot of Trauma Centers and ER's very busy too! Subsequently, the manufactures that make the medical equipments will be booming for a long...long time.

But afganistan DOES actually matter. The people that have and are trying to attack us, if you recall, origionate there. I'd rather spend billions there on a war than billions here on programs to take away our freedoms.
So, they're not there now or we would have found them. Who are we actually fighting? Anyone who objects to us being there? What is the purpose? To make wheat farmers out of poppy farmers. If we can't control what goes on now, What will happen when we leave? So what about it lefties? What's the rational behind our war in Afghanistan that doesn't apply to Iraq?
But see Bush couldn't (or wouldn't) go after the REAL culprits of 9/11 because he (and his whole family) were literally in bed with them.
So they figured...what the hell...let's go after Saddam and the Iraqis instead...

Ever wear a CPO with a gas mask on and try to do something that requires expending energy like fighting a war? Ever try to use an M-16 or any other weapon with a gas mask on? The Chemical weapons Iraq used on the Kurds and Iranians were unaccounted for post 9/11 and Saddam was playing cat and mouse with us. The possibility of those weapons falling into the hands of people in Afghanistan was unacceptable. Do you think we could have stayed in Afghanistan if al Qaeda began using chemical weapons? Should we have simply taken someone's word that the weapons no longer existed? You can insinuate all you like about Bush, but the fact remains that those Democrats who voted to authorize the war in Iraq did so because they understood the threat these weapons posed for our troops, our citizens and Afghanistan's citizens.
90 days in office we blame mr obama for the war??, what about the last 8 years? how does that work? could you have not shared your moral outrage b4 now?

So basically you're saying the Bush family was literally having orgies with the Saudi Royal family therefor we invaded Iraq?
Maybe he couldn't go after the real culprits of 9/11 because they were dead.
