Something different does not equal lavish. Only a person who can't seem to think would think that. Why don't you find something meaningful to reply next time instead of constantly posting rtalking points from your leaders.

You can't stand the fact that Obama is an embarrasement to our country because he refuses to get a proper present for heads of state.
What? Could you please point out where I called anyone "names" in my post?

What name calling? Have you gotten smart yet?

And, btw, I don't care what kinds of gifts Obama gives to whom.

Tsk, tsk, tsk. You've picked up some bad manners somewhere.

"Only a person who can't seem to think would think that"????

I see you're still trying to get smart.

Too bad that so many of you don't understand or even know what protocol is. Public education abounds in this forum.

Oh, you already got-smart??

Cogito, ergo sum" (English: "I think, therefore I am"), sometimes misquoted as Dubito, ergo cogito, ergo sum (English: "I doubt, therefore I think, therefore I am")[1], is a philosophical statement in Latin used by René Descartes, which became a foundational element of Western philosophy.

But he isn'y an embarrasement... why don't you look up how he is being received in the European press? You would quickly learn that it is in fact, quite the opposite.

Would it matter to you that the queen requested that gift?
