David Letterman's Ad For The New GOP (VIDEO)

David Letterman wants to help the ailing GOP and last night he did so by producing a new television ad for them called "The Party of Yes." It details their positive stance on issues and tells voters that they will be ready to lead in 2028.

I actually thought the Republicans were smarter than this - that they would realize, to paraphrase Obama, that "the ground has shifted beneath their feet." But God love 'em, they still cling to the same threadbare ideologies, chanting their mantra of "government is the problem" and "the solution to everything is to cut taxes." If that sort of thinking was going to work, then we should be in a utopia after eight years of GOP rule. If they continue to operate in this mindset, I'd be surprised if the GOP is competitive even by 2028.

More evidence of why Letterman rules and thinking people KNOW that Leno is just a shill for the Republicans.

BTW, was that last night's opening? Just before he brought O'Reilly out for a long interview? Another thing I like about Dave, he can sit there, draw O'Reilly out and make him look like a reasonable individual. Of course O'Reilly knows if he steps out of line Dave will crucify him AGAIN.
