That picture is copyrighted by the Associated Press. So it is not a fake. Its customary for men in the middle east to kiss.

Sorry boys and girls, I am immune to all fascist tactics save the bullet.

As yet, no one has explained to me why it was proper for Obama to bow to King Abdullah but not Queen Elizabeth.

Care to take a crack at it?

What was your goal in replying in this thread? To tell me I'm not allowed to be angry and berate me for it? As you can see by the number of posts I have on this message board, I'm new. If this is the kind of treatment I can expect, I will happily move on.
My goal to reply on this thread is because I want to. Same as your goal. Angry or mock outrage? Lines are blurred on CD.
Secondary to show the hypocricy. People are outraged if he follows protocol and they are outraged when Michelle allegedly did not follow protocol.
Please don't let the revolving door hit you on your way out. That would not be a good way to start your Friday.

Those photos were all over the place when it happened. I know it's ridiculous and hard to believe, but Pres. Bush really did kiss the guy on the mouth and walk around holding hands with him. Obama bowing is hardly noteworthy in comparison.

I believe holding hands and kissing another man is an acceptable form of greeting,it shows they consider each other equals.

Bowing is down to those who are superior to you.

That would be a kiss on the cheek which is a common practice in many regions of the world, not mouth to mouth like the fake one posted earlier. And the mouth to mouth one is a bad fake at that.

I like how you all get all culturally sensitive and stuff when it suits you and then, in the very same post, take offense when someone is acting in a culturally sensitive manner. Make up your mind already.

Where is someone acting in a culturally sensitive manner when Obama bowed to King Abdullah?

Are you asserting the President of the USA is subservient to the King?
