And to answer the original question of this resurrected thread, I agree with the posters who said "who cares??" And for the one who said "real Americans have a problem with interracial relationships", that's total BS. Real Americans don't judge people that way, and hopefully choose their dates & friends based on more than skin color.

I've personally dated men of almost every race... my last boyfriend was 100% Black, and the guy before him was multi-ethnic - Black, Native American, Puerto Rican, French, etc. My longest relationship was with a guy who's 1/2 Mexican & 1/2 Tlingit (Alaskan native), which was a very cool blend of cultures and looks... people always mistake him for a Samoan though, lol. I personally can't imagine limiting myself to one ethnic group, since great people come from all backgrounds! And btw, my parents haven't said one negative thing about it (to the comment about most parents changing their tune). In fact, my mother has tried to set me up with a couple of Black men she knows.

Absolutely no problem with it. You fall in love with someone because of who they are, not their skin color or ethnic background. Well, I would hope the majority of people do!

Funny thing is, I'm white and went to an all white school and for some reason I didn't fit in with one group or another either, I guess I was "different"... it just made me a stronger person. Yes, it'll be hard on the kids, but life is hard!

Yeah - Moosketeer believes he is for real but I think he is just a troll.

IMHO - just living with a woman id a form of interracial experience. I've bee doing it for a very long time and I still do not completely understand the female race. Oddly enough, she seems to understand me completely.
