I think any public official, Republican or Democratic, would be wise to notify the police about receiving these teabags. Not because all teabaggers are inherently evil, or anything like that, but because someone with malicious intent could use the teabag as a delivery system for a biological contaminant.

Remember the anthrax attacks post-9/11 (you know, the terrorist attacks people forget about)? Those were powders in envelopes; how much easier to use teabags? And, if I recall correctly, they were sent almost exclusively to Democratic Senators and Representatives.
