Where's the discussion on this? Why do the lefties think he won't accept repayment of the money? I've been saying since this guy took office. He's Tony Soprano. Don't take any money from him or he will own you/you will owe him favors. He's going to come to the state governors next. All of those dopes that took the stimulus money should know you don't get somethin' for nothin'. Fly away states rights. Fly away. Fly away. It's just a short matter of time.

International Bankers want to control the banks. Obama is giving them access to it. Andrew Jackson fought the Bankers, Abraham Lincoln fought the Bankers, and John F. Kennedy fought the bankers. Obama is willing to give them everything because he is a Puppet President like Bush

Did you read the article?

Bush forced the bank in question to take the money. Obama allegedly doesn't want it back. There are two stories here. The first, why would the Bush admin force taxpayer money to a bank that didn't want it? The second, why won't the government take it back with interest? I would like more info before I pass judgment based on political beliefs, but neither story makes much sense.

You weren't worried about it when reagan controlled union wages. You're still blaming unions for 30yrs when the court was fixed against them. That's capitalism, huh???

It's an opinion piece, not news. I nominate rankin for 2012 to represent the right. Go ahead and fix the planet.

Well the forcing is easy. If banks had to go out and ask for TARP it would be pretty clear that the banks asking for TARP were insolvent and it would negate the whole purpose of asking for funds.

He's giving them what they want because in all honesty it's what a majority of the American people want. They've been giving them more power for the last 30 years, this isn't really any different. Sold yourselves to rich elites and now they're effing you over because otherwise you're pretty screwed. Baby boomers manufactured their retirement demise.
