Without millions of people being told - and sometimes drilled - who to vote for, wouldn't millions of non-intellectual working people be able to think for themselves instead of the spoon-fed socialist rhetoric from their union bosses?

Thanks for announcing your presence.
Germany has quite the socialized work force, so I can understand your wanting to troll so as to discredit this post.

Unions are just socialization of the workforce, so now w/the left in power the typical union guy views big government as a logical extension of the workplace.

Yes, which is why I have absolutely no use for them.

Unions were important when hands were getting chopped off in factories around the turn of the century, but now they are nothing more than fat, money grabbing cysts in our social, economic, and political structure.

The SEIU raised how much for Obama? 30 million? They also caused around how many million to be donated? $500 or so?
Every pol goes after the union label, why do you think that is? Because without them they get less $$$ and wouldn't have a chance. You see, it takes big $$$ to buy an election and the one with the most $$ wins otherwise why would they track and report on it daily during the election?
That was only 1 union so I'd say heck yes, without the unions AND the ignorant kiddie vote he'd still be playing Chicago politics and sittin in Rev. Wrights pews.

I'm not in a Union.
None of my friends are in a Union.
None of my family are in Unions.

The majority of us (probably 90%) voted Obama.
