That was a rather ungracious and inappropriate thing to say in a condolence thread.

Keith gave his mom a great tribute, and I am amazed that he was able to do it so well so soon. It's heartbreaking to lose a parent, though we know that most of us will lose both. My sincerest condolences to the Olbermann family.

while we're on this topic which are the lucky ones of us who will not lose both parents ever? can I place my kids at the top of that list?

Those of us who will pass away before their parents, of course. And I am sure it is a much sadder thing to lose a child.
