Barney Frank has a selective memory. He neglected to discuss this in his bullying response:
Barney Frank on Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac Prior to Collapse

Fannie and Freddie need more than the $400 billion already promised to them to stay afloat just this year:
"Both companies said in recent securities filings that they will need more aid and that the $400 billion Treasury lifeline may not be enough to stay afloat this year."
Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac Receive $46 Billion From Treasury - Bloomberg.com

And they'll need even more when the Option ARM's and Alt-A's reset in 2010-2011:

Why keep electing someone who has clearly shown that he doesn't know what he's talking about, and has in fact proven to be a danger to our financial system with his false statements of Fannie's and Freddie's soundness?

This Harvard student started at Harvard as a Dem. and got sick of the way they put every one in a box with a label on it...racist, Right wing, etc...
At that time he even thought that Clinton was too much of a centrist, but now he is a Rep. and discovered that Rep. allow people to discuss issues without puting a label on them and let them finish without pointing a finger and accusing them from something they aren't....just as barney Frank proved again, that is so true about Dem.!

Great student and I hope more people will ask decent questions and get to show the real politicians, just like he did!

I'm afraid you're in for a disappointment. The young favor the Democrats, they don't hate gays, they are less religious, less racists, more diverse.
The GOP doesn't stand a chance with those factors.

I'll take stereotyping for $200, Alex. Good Lord, hopefully by your junior year, you'll get out of the "group think" box. I beg of you, instead of salivating at every word that falls out of your Marxists professors mouths, challenge them. Critical thinking will make for a better student. I promise.
