I'm with you. Something should certainly be done with these employers -these employers are cheating all of us.

Granted competition from the Asian market is inducing some employers to look for cheap labor, but the companies who do things right and those of us who pay our taxes are being cheated.

Two companies in the same market - Co A does things right, Co B hires illegals. Co A is at a distinct economic disadvantage.

Not only can Co B pay lower wages but they also avoid the huge costs of employee benefits, workers comp, unemployment insurance, etc.

There is a whole multitude of ways these employers are cheating us taxpayers. For instance, we taxpayers are paying for the infrasture used by the illegals. Not only are illegals not paying taxes, but they are sending some of that tax-free money to relatives at home out of the country.

I have no problem paying my fair share of taxes, but I am SICK of bearing the load for tax cheats and freeloaders. In my opinion, employers who "beat" the system by hiring illegals are tax cheats and freeloaders.

This report was by Bear Sterns in 2005:

Quote:
the United States may be foregoing $35 billion a year in income tax
collections because of the number of jobs that are now off the books.

Illegal aliens offer below market labor costs and many employers circumvent regulations to take advantage of the laissez faire government enforcement process.

Four to six million jobs have shifted to the underground market, as small
businesses take advantage of the vulnerability of illegal residents.

Many immigrants, particularly those with immediate families in their native country, provide financial support to those left behind. .......send home on average $1,400 to $1,500 per year ..... In 2002, people sent $133 billion worldwide, according to the World Bank. Developing countries accounted for $88 billion of the total, up 33% from $60 billion in 2000.

It's not just the 12-13 million. Those are individuals! Those people have families which is the goal to reunite then with their families. So it is estimated it will be 35+ million who will be on here depending on the system.

We don't owe them a damn thing. So damn what if they have families anywhere? They need to be deported fortwith. The need to be deported with only the clothes on their backs, since they were stolen also with stolen money they got from stolen jobs that are not supposed ot be working at. They are damn criminals. The facts are that there are more that 20 million illegals in this country. They have used the 12 million figure for over 7 years now. Do you, or anyone else, honestly think thast more illegals haven't come into the country since they first started using the number 12 million? Think about it.

Buy them all tickets to Canada.

Surely there are jobs in Canada that Canadians won't do.

Canadians are at least as civilized as Americans!

And, it's the Canadians, not us, that have Universal Benevolence Laws.

The current administration is in favor of amnesty. Obama made a promise to Hispanic people.
Peolsi thinks our immigration laws are unfair to immigrants.

Whether you like it or not we will see something happen along the lines of amnesty which will pretty much lock in the democratic party as the majority in this country.

It's all about the votes and staying in power.

I agree with you.

I really hate how they come here and hire themselves instead of real Americans.

If they didn't hire themselves, whoever did should be in jail.
