I honestly do understand where you are coming from. But this unconstitutional taxing would lead us into a slippery slope of less individual rights and legislating morality. I am against both W and now Obama instituting measures that reduce individual privacy. Things like tolerance of porn may be the price we need to to pay to protect our individual rights.

What I find astonishingly interesting is that people are willing to allow their fellow citizens to pay taxes on products and services that they themselves do not patronize but scream like hell when it's their pockets are being robbed by unrepresented taxes. The government has been able to divide and conquer us because they know we as a people can not stand and support each other. Lambs to the slaughter I always say.

As per what soccer said; men become emotionally dwarfed from porn. Sorry, just a bystander watching you guys, and on the receiving end of plenty of crappioca in my lifetime. It really does make you less, especially when it's habitual. Nope, I'm not a prude. I'd rather play football than watch it.
Many men are too ignorant to understand how porn desensitize boys and makes them look at sex in a distorted way. Many men are so obsessed with porn that they don't even see how it is destroying their relationships. Many men are ignorant pigs. My wife will tell you that I am not one of them.

Regarding the argument that porn "degrades" women, that's nonsense. In fact, women have the greatest amount of equality in the countries where porn was first legal (Sweden, Denmark, The Netherlands, etc.). There's almost a perfect correlation between the restrictions on porn and the freedom that women have. Do we really want to be like Saudi Arabia or Iran?

The Bush Administration tried pretty hard to make things difficult for the producers of adult movies, but they really had very few successes. Thank goodness Obama won.
"Thank goodness Obama won."

Obama watches porn?

For those of you that say porn degrades women , why don't you say that it degrades men too? A double standard????

Porn has been around for ever. To say it is the reason for failed marriges is absurd. Who hasn’t looked at another nude person, let them cast the first stone.
