Cubans do not have the right to free enterprise, they do not have freedom of movement nor do they have sufferage. Cubans are state vassals and property. The Fidel brothers robbed Cubans of their Democracy, and the United States has every moral high ground to oppose Cuba's repressive regime until its death.

No one ever said the point of the santions was to establish a Democracy in Cuba. The Cuban Assets Control Regulations, 31 CFR Part 515 (the “Regulations”) were issued by the U.S. Government on 8 July 1963 under the Trading With the Enemy Act in response to certain hostile actions by the Cuban government. The goal of the sanctions is cleary stated as to isolate the Cuban government economically and deprive it of U.S. dollars: http://www.ustreas.gov/offices/enforcement/ofac/programs/cuba/cuba.pdf (broken link)

Fine... but since the USA does not operate under that rubric anywhere else in the world, what is the logic in treating Cuba so differently? Cuba does not have the worst human rights record in the world... your arguments apply to a myriad of nations that the USA routinely does business with. If the USA cuts off relationships with all these other countries, then I will be the first to support the Cuban embargo. Until then, let's stop being hypocrites and stop the punishment of the Cuban people...

The whole thing about Cuba has nothing to do with communist/capitalism (look at Bush's friends in communist China)

I guarantee, that it's all about money... people that would lose money if trade with Cuba is opened.

Who would lose money?
Off the top of my head: The owners of resorts in Hawaii, Las Vegas, Cancun, South Florida, Bahamas, Jamaica, Puerto Rico and all the cruise lines in the caribbean.

If Americans were allowed to visit Cuba (sounds as if we live in a communist country) people would flood Cuba just to see what the hell is over there.
And it'd be worse when people get to see all the great things that Cuba has... an island almost the size of Florida with Caribbean beaches, lots of historic places and a mountain range that reaches 6500ft above sea level (same as the highest point on the Appalachians. Mt Mitchell):

No, I just think it has to do with Castro thumbing his nose at the US all these years and because of the Cubans in Florida. Everybody that I know that's been to Cuba says it's the most beautiful island in the Caribbean... some say they prefer it to Hawaii...

well as a Cuban American of the younger generation I support dropping the embargo and thank President Obama for lifting the travel & monetary restrictions put in place by the Bush administration. The Cubans in Miami got sick of hearing GOP crap like "Cuba Si, Castro No" as lip service since Reagan only to turn around and restrict travel to the island by relatives & impose restrictions on the amount of money we can remit to our relatives. If you look at the election stats Obama did very well with Cuban Americans and especially the younger generations.
As for the human rights issue well we trade with China and they are not a model of human rights.

Enforcing your values and "democracy" (if it can be called that anymore) on other sovereign nations is what's dragged this country down the god damn tubes.

All Cubans get health care. Bring on "Totalitarianism" and I promise to call it "Freedom" instead. Freedom from being able to afford to stay well since these pharamceuticals and hospitals are not going broke but instead making great money. From all of us.

Go Cuba!! Go USA!!
