Where's Michael Newdow when we need him? SOMEONE's gotta make everybody work on Sunday and maybe smack those little kids around at the Easter egg hunt. Teach 'em about how godless America really ought to be, and how religious faith is some sort of mental disorder.
So atheists want "under God" taken out of the pledge? Fine. Let 'em work on Sundays and holidays.

What does your post have to do with all those seculars wanting to keep taking religious holidays off? I failed to understand what you meant.
Many government drones rail against religion and yammer on endlessly about separation of church and state -- but blithely take off religious holidays while feeding at the public trough.
Left-wingers aren't addled. Just hypocritical and mendacious.
I wouldn't mind working sundays and holidays.. in fact, for many years I did. Considering I'm a purchasing manager I have to work a schedule that mimicks my vendors, which means I work a regular monday through friday. Holidays? I'd work them, but company policy says I get paid time and a half for working holidays so it's generally a no-no. Otherwise, I'd be more than happy to work
They resist this description, of course -- then quietly pray in private for the epiphany of funding.
Here's another one for the anti- Goddies and the ACLU: I've lived in NY,NJ, CA, AK, Canada, and now SC. At least 75% of the time, my voting places have been in a church. lol
Living in Cali my voting place is the secular humanist church... An elementary school. Yes little kindergarten student your parents are killing the enviroment! bad capitolists!
