And yet the right can't understand that their "anti-education" bias is what is driving many educated people away from the Republican Party.

Who is "anti-education" on the right? Would that be Newt Gingrich or Bill Bennett or Dennis Prager or....?
If you are speaking about conservatives that aren't buying into those silly universities that are run by what is akin to the UAW and thier ridiculous "studies" programs...Well count me in. Every time I hear a particularly foolish liberal it is a good bet they got a degree in Women's or Black "Studies". They are good for a laugh, though.
Yep, the Palin family just wants the media to leave them alone. Yet another Palin family member talks to the media,

I just cannot wait until 2012... Palin is giving us a prelude of what her campaign will no doubt entail and that will be utter ignorance. To be honest with you she won't last long in the GOP Primaries...
He will talk about being the former fiance of Bristol Palin, the daughter of Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin. Johnston's mother and sister also will be interviewed.
This woman just can't take responsibility for her own actions!! She now blames bloggers lies for the rejection of her AG nominee. And gives a big LIE as an example. Maybe, just maybe, if she had been in Juneau before and during the vote, she may have gotten her candidate confirmed!
The one example she cited was "he being engaged in a machine gun shoot on somebody's property down in Seward, and there were witnesses to such a thing, and he'd never been there," she said. "That's just one example."

"I don't believe I knew anything about that, and it certainly never came up in floor debate," French said. A Google search of news and blogs turned up no relevant mentions of Wayne Anthony Ross, Seward and machine guns prior to the vote.
Spring is springing here on the Last Frontier, and with it pops up a brand new ethics complaint against the governor. For those of you keeping score at home, that makes twelve ethics complaints in all. That number, of course, includes the one Palin filed against herself last fall so the Troopergate investigation could be overseen by the governor-appointed personnel board, instead of leaving it solely to those rogue, mavericky legislators in Juneau.
The complaint will be filed this afternoon asserting that Palin's involvement with SarahPAC constitutes "outside employment" and "misuse of official position."
In an interview with the Juneau Empire, Governor Sarah Palin blamed the lies of the blogosphere and e-mails from members of the public (also known as constituent voices) for the defeat of Wayne Anthony Ross for Attorney General.
The vote was the first in state history to defeat an AG appointee and went down 35-23 last Thursday. Not only was Ross the first AG to not be confirmed, according to Legislative Research Services, it was the first time (http://www.adn.com/front/v-printer/story/762037.html - broken link) in state history a head of a state agency has failed to be confirmed by the Legislature. At the time of the vote, Palin was pandering, attending an anti-choice fundraiser in Indiana.
