THe thing is how can it be a sin? if you were hurt by someone who turned you off or on to a sex orientation before you were ready for it? I could go into the why and whys not, but I rather not, instead I invite people to research things themselves and encourge people to find things out for themselves...I stand by what I said, for me and what I had researched, experienced and known, has formed my opininon so far.

I'm just wondering what is the strange fixation with gays that makes some straight people obsess about what is going into which orifice in some bedroom somewhere...

One answer, the influence on children. Gays are the only "alternative sexual preference†that is marketed to children in the schools. The same sex couples that cannot produce children should not be trying to influence ours. If they were not in the schools, I would not give them a second thought.

Off topic again. The only school yard influence gays have is the national day of silence which was created to raise awareness of the terror that compels many a gay student to keep quiet lest they be beaten to death. Violence in schools, no other school agenda.

Haven't we had this talk before?

Virote, apologize for being off-topic, but does your school have a GSA?

Just wondering where citigirl is getting some of her info.

we were denied a GSA

We were going to offer up a counseling service, a place for people to feel safe, but no...we were denied.

she gave a website link likening gays to pedophiles a few pages back in the is it okay to be gay and christian forum. That's all Citi's proffered besides an audio tape my computer wouldn't run.

I am sad that you were denied a GSA. The few GSA groups I've worked with have been very encouraging.

I am sad that citigirl is promulgating mis-information! It is so dangerous because others don't always look up information to confirm some of the things they read.

We are too. It seems like a slap in the face that religious groups get to organize on campus when we cannot.

Every thread on religion and homosexuality she'd been trying to promote this idea. Off topic, and probably just to bait people. But I too fear someone might believe her.
