I get to agree with you once. Andrew Johnson was also not elected but he sure was the President. Some people don't think that not being elected is the same thing.

It was the other Johnson who got there because the President got assassinated, Andrew Johnson. He was impeached and not removed, either because the Senate came up one vote shy. His removal would have been at least as sad as Clinton's would have because he was trying to do what Lincoln would have done about reconstruction and the Republicans went after him because he didn't want to punish the South. Just think, if he had lived Lincoln would have been impeached for the very same reason.

The Senate was sure that they had Johnson but one Republican Senator from Kansas went against the rest.

Andrew Johnson was the first. He was not removed from office by the senate. He was a Democrat and the impeachment was largely political, he wasn't popular at all.
