Bill Ayers wasn't considered a threat, despite him clearly saying he blew buildings up and wished he did more. Is his name on there? Nope. The difference he agree with the new fuhrer. Apparently if you don't agree, now more than ever, you are to be labeled extremist or terrorist. Funny they won't even call the people who actually use terror as a means of power terrorist, they're victims of their environments.

My point....it is as likely as right wing extremists causing problems.

Funny that those now in power believe in using fear to stir up trouble when just last year it was fearmongering....

What's your agenda, here? The passage didn't use the word "terrorist", you did. The passage didn't say that "only" rightwing extremists are stockpiling guns and ammo. You added that word. Why?

There is nothing partisan about Homeland Security citing the concerns of local, state and federal authorities at the increase in guns and ammo, and the observation that the bulk of buyers would be pro-NRA (a conservative organization that decidedly leans right) or more politically conservative is a prudent observation.

Homeland Security is doing it's job. Why is that a problem for you?

Again, what is your agenda? Bill Ayers was a left-wing extremist decades ago. Has he been stockpiling weapons lately?

If you're trying to say that left-wing extremists are just as capable of violence, then say it. There is no question that you are correct. Homeland Security isn't saying that left-wing extremists aren't a concern. But they are pointing out that right-wing extremists are currently feeling that this administration doesn't represent them and people who feel dissatisfied, disgruntled, and disenfranchised are more likely to act. It's a fair observation.

I agree with you that Big Government is a huge threat to our freedoms. But I don't think Homeland Security is trying to create any undue fear. And I don't think you think that, either. Ovcatto provided a lenghthy list of the troubles we've had with right-wing extremists, and it's not even a complete list. If President Obama or Ms Pelosi were on television suggesting that an attack were imminent, that might be fear-mongering. But Homeland Security taking note of the increased threat posed by right-wing extremists in light of a left-wing administration being in power is not fear-mongering.

Hey, how about reading... Terror is mentioned 16 times:
http://www.thelibertypapers.org/wp-c...m-09-04-07.pdf

But I understand your unwillingness to see how ridiculous this is. My agenda? Is to show how utterly hypocrictial the left is. While embracing Bill Ayers a known terrorist they now expose the right for it's "terrorist" activities despite:
Quote:
(U//LES) The DHS/Office of Intelligence and Analysis (I&A) has no specific
information that domestic rightwing* terrorists are currently planning acts of violence,
but rightwing extremists may be gaining new recruits by playing on their fears about
several emergent issues.
They have no threat but they should be watched, just in case.

I have never met, heard of, or read about, any "left wing" militia groups, retarded or otherwise, skin heads or supremacist so if that is your argument...
