"Homeland Security Office of Intelligence and Analysis defines "rightwing extremism in the United States" as including not just racist or hate groups, but also groups that reject federal authority in favor of state or local authority."

Federal agency warns of radicals on right - Washington Times
Looks like the Hamiltons are out to get the Jeffersons. Might as well use bailout money to tear down the Jefferson Memorial along with statues of Patrick Henry, John Adams, George Mason, and John Hancock.
How about just getting rid of the Dept. of Homeland Security since it is one of the most bloated and wasteful government bureaucracy.

I seem to recall lots of "jokes" from the left about giving Bush pretzels, and some nasty things after that Iraqi threw the shoes...

Well that's just stupid. Do you place the Hell's Angels, the Pagans, and the Aryan Nation on the left? Just curious.

That is because you did not want to remember. The left-wing lunatics are STILL threatening FORMER President Bush.

Kansas man charged with threatening Bush
NEWTON, Kan. | A 38-year-old south-central Kansas man has been charged in connection with making a threat against former President George W. Bush.
According to the indictment, Newton threatened on March 20 to injure and kill Bush.

Even a Democrat Senator ( Mary Landrieu) threatened the President with physical violence.
Considering all the wacky left-wing terrorist organizations that have popped up since 09/11/2001, such as the Buffalo 6, the Miami 7, and the Fort Dix 6, Homeland Security should be looking into the REAL threat to this nation, instead of trying to take away the people's right to free speech.

Before Obama was elected, I said the first thing he would do as President is to control/shut down dissenting opinion. I really thought he'd start with the Fairness Doctrine then marginalize any media that's not in his fan club.
Do they really think people are buying guns because a black man was elected president? How ridiculous! Anyone get an exit poll at the gun shop to find out WHY you bought a gun? Rational people are afraid of lawlessness if the economy goes too far south. If the police are spread too thin, no one will protect them and their families, but themselves.
