And where was all this protesting when Bush was spending trillions on countries that HATE us?
I was protesting with Ron Paul in 2007 where were you.
Maybe you were electing another typical big government president who was all to ready to increase the spending in iraq once he got into power.
Ron Paul was saying it from day one.
Now all the "teabaggers" are proud community organizers
Dopo I think it's a good thing only so long as they mean to take responsibility for the direction of our nation as a whole. They're putting their time, effort, and money where their mouths are, and it IS a good thiing. That's when our system works. Destructive radicals are not to be equated with peaceful protests.
Funny how "grass roots" are cool with conservatives all of a sudden. They all made fun of Obama being a Community Organizer and his grass roots presidential campaign. Looks like the only good idea you've had in eight years came from Obama.
Grassroots are cool with conservatives, I guess you forgot the Ron Paul campaign which was completely grassroots and didnt have the media loving him like Obama. Maybe you just wish to ignore that. Maybe you wish to ignore Ron Paul and is continued words of wisdom about the debt during the campaign about the spending and bailouts.
So in closing
Ron Paul 2012
Were you proud of Americans on November 4th & 5th, 2008?
Or you are only proud of Americans when they are protesting and you hate democracy?
What does the protest of taxes and government spending have to do with November 4th and 5th 2008. This has been going on way before the elections and for the last 30 years. Protesting taxes has being going on since 1775 so please lets move on from idealogy that Obama is a proud moment for Americans. Tax day is not about Obama.
This is a great day when people can organize and peacefully protest the government and it's oppressive policies. It really should remind EVERYONE of our history and why this country was founded. Let's hope this unites people more and more throughout the country so we can start working together to achieve more.
Now all the "teabaggers" are proud community organizers
Taking part of a protest can not be classified as "community organizers"... Not even close to the same thing.
When I see one of these individuals use "took part of a protest" on their resume for qualifications to be president you'll have a point, but until then, I suspect you understand why people are protesting before you criticize.
Are you proud of America for the first time in your life?
