The law distinguishes between Fraud/Accounting Errors. Doesn't matter what party you are affiliated with. Sure, there would have been some grumblings in the Democratic Party if it had been an Republican Appointment that was under question. However, I will say this. The Republicans are duly noted for their Theatrics, this is for sure. Just ask John Boehner and others... The Dems would have let the issue die a rather quick death whereas the GOP would try to capitalize and somehow make it a big issue when in fact it wasn't

I cant name to many tax cheats that were Republicans and in Congress or held White House staff positions (obviously there are some), Democrats, I'd need multiple hands just for this administration...

Republicans tend to ask for, and receive resignations of those found guilty, Democrats give them promotions.. Go figure

Maybe we should audit a few Repubs. Say, Boehner, Cantor, Vitter, and Chambliss out of Georgia for sure...
