Republicans could never get away with this even if they wanted to do it. The bad thing is that Democrats have the unearned reputation as being a pro-freedom party. Young people especially are convinced of this. Because of this perception Democrats could take away as much freedom and civil liberties as they please and no one will protest or raise an eyebrow. Those who do will be discounted as those "wacky teabaggers".

I do not especially like this era we live in. I have often thought that the only good thing about this time period is the internet. The freedom to be able to read all points of view, not just the propaganda from the big media outlets, is truly one of the best things ever in human history. If and when the Democrats take that away I will become very unhappy with little to look forward to.

Is America waking up to the left winger under-belly of society and how they want to take all our freedoms away? Let's hope so before it's too late!

Sometimes, i wish he would shut the internet down, I might get something done at work. Think about how much more would get done in offices across America, this isn't government intrusion, it the best stimulus package ever!

Nice fricken link, locked my whole computer up.

I swear, these damn websites that have so many pop-ups and advertisements, they lock peoples entire computers up should be deleted in their entirety and the owner of the domain should be put infront of a firing squad.

A link to the actual bill may help.
S.773: Cybersecurity Act of 2009 - U.S. Congress - OpenCongress

I'm not quite sure what in there is bad, unless of course, your desire is to perform cyber attacks on Governments or large Business. Tell FOX this bill may inhibit their activies a little.
