Where do you live? In a vacuum? Come teach in NYC and see what is going on. The majority of the students in school in the South Bronx and Harlem are on welfare. What’s the matter does the truth hurt? Bill Cosby says even tougher things about the African American Community. Is he a racist? Get your cool aid comrade.

That's funny because when I watched Fox News's coverage of the Atlanta event, I saw lots of black people. I was kind of surprised, actually.

Because he was successful he is an uncle tom? Maybe you're jealous of him because he made it on top?

This is why they fall in line behind Limbaugh when he accuses Obama of being a "murderer" when he ordered the pirates killed. They are racists. All blather to the contrary is merely smoke-and-mirrors denial.

I'll tell you where all the protestors were. The exact same place they are now. Things were bad, everyone was on edge. Only back then, when everyone was fed up with the Bush administration, we all still had the idea of things getting better with somebody, don't care who just somebody different in the White House. Then what happens? We get the new guy in, and it's all the same old haphazard stuff. All of Obama's administration nominees are sketchy in some way, mostly on (not) paying thier own taxes. Congress passes the largest spending bill in history and none of them read a damn page. Obama signs a huge budget and blames all the pork he promised not to pass on his predecessor.
If you ask me, those events gave everyone their last-straw WTF moment and bam, you've got protests. And if you ask me, most people now realize the real problems lie in Congress and that's really driving some protestors. There's plenty of white people in Congress last time I checked. The fact that you and people like you or Garafalo are hiding behind the race card and the hate card on this proves you've let the "smoke and mirrors" get the best of you. I bet your conscience knows the difference but your outward position position prevents it from coming out. "Oh, you're all just a bunch of hater racists. Why can't you just love?" Right? Love confuses even the sharpest of minds. It's even worse when you're a nitwit like Janine Garafalo.
p.s. I know what you're thinking and the answer is no, I am not a goddamn Rebublican.

It really, really, makes me wonder. Especially when they are paying less tax now, even the rich, then during 80% of the time when Reagan was in power.
I went to the rally in Portland, out of 1500 to 2000 folks, there were probably, at the most 5 blacks there and 3 of them were anti rally. People of color all together, maybe 10.
What is the reason for that cons?
I think 1/3 of you are uncomfortable with a black man being POTUS and a black family in the white house. It's just too progressive for you.
Remember, just because you don't yell white power or burn crosses, doesn't automatically mean that you're not racist.
I would love to see Keyes or some like that run, just to prove my point. If you all show love to him and prove me wrong, then ok. You could have propped up Watts from OK, but you did not go there, you wanted a loon like Palin instead. You've treated Steele like crap so far and only voted for him, due to white guilt after Obama handed McCain his rear. I saw the reaction on Stromfront the day after he got the RNC nod and it was not pretty.

From City Data's Portland page:
Races in Portland:
White Non-Hispanic (75.5%)
Hispanic (6.8%)
Black (6.6%)
Two or more races (4.1%)
Other race (3.5%)
American Indian (2.3%)
Vietnamese (2.0%)
Chinese (1.4%)
Other Asian (1.3%)
Filipino (0.5%)
Japanese (0.5%)
Perhaps if more black people actually lived in Portland you might have seen, I don't know, at least one or two more. At least?
I think all the people pulling the race card are actually secretly racist and are trying to prove really hard the opposite. Kinda like that neighbor dad in "American Beauty" eh?

Are you Keith Olberman hiding behind a screen name? As a "supposed" newsman he sat there while that "lady" spewed her hate and pretty much agreed with her. So much for objectivity right?
BTW, did you even GO to one of the tea parties or did you just watch the reports on MSNBC or CNN? I kind of thought so...
I've got another question for you to ponder.. If the people at the tea parties were such nutjobs what do you call the "people" that threw bottles and threatened others at Rep Tom Tancredo's speech at the Univ. North Carolina? I'd be interested in your thought process on that one...

Someone has to pay for all this spending. There may be tax cuts now for middle income, but I don't believe that rich people and business alone are going to be able to pay off all this debt. Plus, look how many companies have left the US - rely on business to carry the burden and they will pack their toys and head to China.

This is the way I look at things too. I've historically voted mostly democrat. I actually voted for Obama in the primaries. It was after he won the primary that I noticed his tone change and gave me my WTF moment. So on and so forth.
I was thinking to myself - if the USA was a business, Obama would be a terrible CEO. He's brought in to replace the failed leadership and make the company profitable. He's got some support and energy going for the short term, the new hotness, y'know, but he's got the wrong vision and he's still got to deal with the idiots still on the corporate board. The long road is going to be very costly as a result and the company probably won't survive. So then who's going to bail US(A) out?
