So much for being proud of your Muslim name. Just wich he was proud of the white party of his family that raised him as opposed to only focusing on the black Muslim part of his family that abandoned him.
Not Muslim. Arabic. It means "handsome".

Jihad is a common "Arabic" name given by "Muslim" parents to their children and it carries a religious meaning of "struggle." Just one example of Muslim naming.

Hussein, a name given by a Muslim parent to President Obama as is tradition in the religion in honor of Imam Hussein, a grandson of the prophet Mohammed.

Thanks for playing. Try using the full set of facts next time.

Yes the people who said it was racist to use Obama's middle name now claim that Bobby Jindal should use his legal name which he has never used in public according to (one? more?) person/people on the left.

Jeepers. Why does the left only care about race? Fun fact. A Black Republican running for office will get more white Republican votes than a black Democrat will get white democrat votes.

Prove me wrong.

That's funny, because I've never heard a republican stereotype or label a single person from the left.

Let's see... this are a few that I've heard
communist, socialist, treehugger, loons, radicals, godless people, anti-american, anarchists ...

That's just a few of them.

Um, he used it in the swearing-in ceremony....

Obama has never been a Muslim.

BTW/FYI - my wife is half Syrian. My FIL and his relatives are all fluent in Arabic, and the family has been devoutly catholic since a hundred years before his Father left Aleppo.

They had many Muslim friends until a Holy War was declared by some Imam around 1927. Grandpa Jameel (Jimmy) went to the Muslim butcher (who was also from Aleppo)where he had always shopped and was told to leave the store or he (the butcher) would have to kill him because of the war. He never did quite understand what all that was about since both of them were in America, but he did find a Christian butcher.

You should learn the difference between Arabic and Muslim. They are not interchangable.

A horrible transliteration but something an Arabic speaker of Catholic descent in your family should recognize nonetheless.

Moderator cut: sorry english only

And I understand the difference fine. When I spoke the above in Qatar, a Muslim I was speaking with thought it was from the Koran.
