Oh, and I bet that this reverse discrimination thingy gets ruled against or thrown out as the vast majority of them do. Why? Because the notion of reverse discrimination is garbage.

Thats liberalism for you..never the best man for the job. A nuclear reactor will work much better if the technicians are racially diverse, especially when 1/2 of them dont understand basic nuclear physics...yep, much better...

Agreed. I would ask would you rather have a doctor perform surgery on you who was the best regardless of race or one that got the job because he is a minority and not the best? Easy answer for me, but I guess others would disagree.

The words 'Wisdom', 'worthwhile' and "Jesse Jackson/Al Sharpton" are an oxymoron...much like you.

Epic FAIL.

Don't hold me to it but the written test was 50% and there was a verbal. The white guys/hispanics nailed it. The AA's did not. Then the city was freaked at being sued for being racist.

Pls reply.

The courts are going to rule hard against this, I hope.

Geez. Does anyone think the best should not get the job?

We are talking people who work to save lives.

Shouldn't blind midgets should get some kind of waiver?

I'll bet they're really discriminated against for firefighter jobs.

The Angry White Male hysteria is so amusing to watch.

You deny a few White men of their "God given right of privilege" (simply because they are White and men) and they go crazy.

How dare society deny them ANYTHING....they are after all WHITE MEN and therefore they are owed the respect of their Whiteness and Maleness. How dare they be denied....its a sacrilege!

Privilege? What are you talking about? No one mentioned "God given right of privilege" other than you.

Did they pass the tests and meet the requirements or didn't they?

Shouldn't positions of responsibility be based upon merit?

What's next, EEO requirenments for surgeons and airline pilots?
