Yet oddly enough you never hear the right wing, nor Fox point out that torture doesn't work, nor do they ever have on the author (can't recall his name, former military interrogator) who wrote the book "How To Interrogate A Terrorist". Odd that I can't recall the exact title now, I just put it on reserve in our library this morning.
I'm sure we have many posters on here who will point out that "McCain is a RINO, and not to be trusted".

so a republican cant have the same or similar ideas of democrats, gee what has happened to the liberal wing of the republican party that has existed in the past before these states rights lunatics took over
Some people say it every four years. They're just whiners.
I'm reminded of people who live in L.A. and say, "There's nothing to do here!"
Agree. The 2000 election contest that I wanted to see was John McCain vs Bill Bradley. Now THAT would've been an election. Instead, we got Bush vs Gore, or as I say: TweedleDumbyah vs TweedleDeeyah.

You're talking about Matthew Alexander....here's a link a transcript when he was on FOX's Hannity & Colmes:
I know he was on the Daily Show (which is not really a news show....more comedy) but, just out of curiousity what other network news channels was he on other than FOX?
John McCain has said waterboarding constitutes torture all along...he said it over and over while he was campaigning yet, those who didn't like him insisted (among other things) that he was in favor of tortue and waterboarding. When congress voted on a bill limiting interrogation techniques to only the 19 outlined in the army field manual ( New Army Manual Bans Some Prisoner Interrogation Techniques - Presidential Politics | Political News - FOXNews.com (http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2006/09/06/new-army-manual-bans-prisoner-interrogation-techniques/ - broken link) ), McCain voted against it because he felt they shouldn't be limited to only those 19 listed. Since waterboarding was not one of them (and it bans it), the liberal media announced it as, "McCain votes against bill banning waterboarding"....even though that was not the reason he voted against it and he specifically said that waterboarding is torture and he was against it as well.
If Democrats want to ban waterboarding, then why have they not outlawed it? They after all have all 3 branches of government in their control and could deem it "torture" tomorrow..
pelosi knew all about the waterboarding, and approved. same with rockefeller.
why no howls for bringing nancy up on torture charges, i wonder?
Who cares if waterboarding works or not. I say torture these Islamic terrorist pigs because its fun! Can I volunteer? How much does the job of head waterboparder pay? Do you get benifits or profit sharing? Hows parking? They should feed them a BLT in between waterboarding sessions.
McCain has a right to his opinion just like everyone else. I'm curious, has he started a campaign against our military waterboarding our own soldiers during training or is that okay?
