Pardon Scooter Libby---Now!
The Scooter Libby perjury case should never have been brought in the first place. Bush needs to pardon him ASAP. Allowed to fester further, the Democrats tactics of slur and slime will make McCarthy-era innuendo and blacklisting look tame by comparison.
President Bush needs to start fighting back against all the dark forces wanting to crucify his presidency. He should start by pardoning Libby on Monday.

Why not? Bush obviously has no respect for the Constitution so why should the little justice system mean anything to him?

I don't think pardoning Scooter would be such a wonderful reflection on Bush.

Why pardon him? If you're going to do an impartial poll and actually get any valid information, you should have an option to "not" pardon him as well. He lied. Plain and simple. I would not pardon him.
Lying seems to be endemic in the Bush Administration.... Alberto Gonzalez who?

Let's play "Let's Make a Deal". Scooter Libby gets pardoned for perjury in a case that never should have been brought in the first place......IF
President Clinton has his impeachment revoked for perjury in a case that never should have been brought in the first place.
Deal?

Sure, George should just put on his crown and ignore the results of a legitmate trial. Maybe he can even put 'ol Scooter Fibby to work doing warrantless wire taps and opening people's mail. Royalty does have its privileges.

Libby lied under oath. He should be held accountable for his actions. A pardon would be a miscarriage of justice. I supported the same with Clinton and to be consistent I do the same here.

Fibby Libby was convicted., by a jury of his peers.
Clinton was not convicted., by a Republican Senate.
No Deal!
