While half the nation has a favorable opinion of last Wednesday’s events, the nation’s Political Class has a much dimmer view—just 13% of the political elite offered even a somewhat favorable assessment while 81% said the opposite. Among the Political Class, not a single survey respondent said they had a Very Favorable opinion of the events while 60% shared a Very Unfavorable assessment.

Rasmussen Reportsâ„¢: The Most Comprehensive Public Opinion Data Anywhere (http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/general_politics2/51_view_tea_parties_favorably_political_class_stro ngly_disagrees - broken link)

With that many elitists getting bent out of shape, we must be doing something right!

economic gloom and doomers had a highly unfavorable rating about 3 years ago. Now people can't get enough of them

We just added about three trillion to the national debt in just the past few months. Are you able to see the difference between what is happening today and what was happening three years ago?

The money hasn't been printed yet. Patience.

Interesting...

Quote:
a majority (54%) of Mainstream Democrats had a favorable opinion of the tea parties.
It seems that the name-calling, marginalizing, uninformed members of the Democrat party that have been continuing to deride the Tea Party movement in these very forums are themselves in the minority.

About what I figured. It just proves the assertion that I've made in other threads that these people who rely on Kos and HuffPo for their information are being led by the nose and spoon fed pure, unadulterated propaganda, and they not only lap it up, but they honestly believe that they're more informed than those who were actually there! Amazing!

Can't wait for all the upcoming events!

Don't forget MSNBC.
Which BTW, believe Fox's O'Reilly will be touching on the Tea Party coverage by MSNBC (owned by GE) on his show tonight about the GE and Cap & Trade issue -- the issue is supposed to be discussed on the O'Reilly Factor tonight. Should be an interesting and informative show.

In case you missed other posts: GE owns MSNBC; GE is heavily invested in green products, including windmills; GE was/is a big supporter of Obama and his energy policies; GE has been a big $$ supporter lobbying for Cap & Trade.

From a recent poll:
Quote:
Nearly 80 percent believe that the rising federal debt will hurt future generations, AP Poll: After Obama's 100 days, US on right track
Wonder if more of those 80% will come out for another Tea Party?

Yep, the Political Class are not in favor of the Tea Parties. They want the sheep to remain quiet, do as they are told, and let the politicians do as they please. Baa Baa. Shame on those average American taxpayers for making their voices heard.

Correction...the money hasn't actually CIRCULATED yet. When it finds its way to hard assets, then you'll see the inflation.
