No matter how you look at it................ Obama is doing a great job.
He has only been in office for 3 months but in that time he has met with many heads of state, Stamped his authority on the ailing US car giants, who went "cap in hand" for a bailout, WITHOUT a plan of recovery. He has started to turn the destroyed economy around..... Even the most pessimistic financier cannot deny this. He is now finally turning Americas attention to the real hot spots of terrorism, Pakistan and Afghanistan. He has good envoys working in the middle East.
This is just a few of the things that Obama is achieving and he has only been in office 3 months.
Obama has now hugely boosted the respect for America across the World... not just with allies but with enemies too. You cannot solve a problem by ignoring the problem makers and Obama is willing to listen.. a trait that seems to have disappeared in Washington. Listening does NOT mean agreeing.
There will always be the Hannity's, Becks, Roves, Limbaugh's and Gingrich's of this world who will criticise Obama...even if he found a cure for Cancer. Thank goodness they are becoming so paranoid that the majority of American's are now becoming numbed to their propaganda. YES you will always have the Right wing fanatics who just want to get back into power, no matter how badly it affects America. Power is more important than the well being of the nation.
Obama is doing a First Rate job and to those who think he should have cured ALL of Americas ills in 100 days, please remember it took Bush and co. 8 years to put America in the horrific state it now finds itself.

LIMP. How clever. "there will always be ... nut jobs." Interesting that so many of you, your first attack is to discredit and sully the person.

One poll is as very much valid as another.
geeoro posts a poll = normal
mossomo posts a poll = nut job

It always amazes me when I see that people want Obama to fail. What people fail to realize though is that if Obama fails, America fails. If America fails, then we fail, and if we fail, then our families fail. There is more at stake here then just party preference.

Chrysler will file chapter 11 bankruptcy next week. The reason they cannot come up with a plan to return to profitability is that the UAW would rather see them go away than comprimise. That means a possible Chrysler-GM merger is off the table. Looks like no one at the BHO White House had the brains to ask if GM's bondholders have credit default swaps with AIG.

"The Congressman is trying to prevent a similar "misstep" by pressuring the White House, Fed and Treasury to ensure GM bondholders don't have credit default swaps with AIG that would pay off in the event of a forced bankruptcy.
"If you didn't like subsidizing GM's survival, certainly you don't want to subsidize their bankruptcy," the Congressman says."

Rep. McCotter: Dont Let AIG backed Bondholders Profit From GM Bankruptcy: Tech Ticker, Yahoo! Finance

What specifically about the "destroyed" economy has been improved by the actions of BHO? Since you are going to use the word "destroyed" to describe our present economy, who destroyed it and how?

Pakistan and Afganistan?

What about Algeres?

Black Death 'kills al-Qaeda operatives in Algeria' - Telegraph

What about the insane spending that we are financing with freshly minted monopoly money?

$700 billion for TARP I
$750 billion for TARP II
$819 billion for the Stimulus Bill
$410 billion for the Omnibus Spending Bill (with 9000 earmarks for special interests)
$3.6 trillion for the annual budget
And that’s just domestic spending! At the recent G20 summit, Obama committed America to huge overseas spending, including:
$1 trillion for the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank
$845 billion for the United Nations’ Millennium Development Goals, known here in the U.S. as the Global Poverty Act
Perhaps trillions more for a foreign aid program called Special Drawing Rights
Perhaps trillions more for the initiatives of the UN Climate Change Conference

You must be a very young person to not remember the misery index produced by Carternomics and the implications for us today.

No, Obama's con artist policies can fail and America can very much suceed.
People can and will work around and in spite of Obama to succeed.

America is about the people, not about Obama. If American people succeed, America succeeds.

I hope to see America get better and succeed, but I hope to see Obama fall flat on his media attention loving face. Obama is no president. Obama is a sham.
