I can't believe Rosie Odonnell with her obvious agenda has the platform that she does. OReilly on the other hand, though he rubs many the wrong way with his pomposity, is right on on a lot of the issues. He is an articulate voice for the traditonalists and is not afraid to take on anyone and tell the truth as he sees it.

Just so long as we all realize that "truth as he or she sees it" is not fact!

OTR, I respect you open outlook but are you saying there is no "truth" when in comes to politics, no right or wrong?
Maybe I am naive but I do realize some politicians will distort the truth just to get elected. . however I think Bill Oreilly has no such agenda. Of course everyone has their opinion based on their truth "perception is reality", which btw I don't believe!
And I am sure Rosie believes every deluded opinion she has!

I think Rosie is just an annoying, loudmouth, cow. Her personality is abrasive, her opinions are useless, and her talent is non-existent.
...and to be honest, Bill O'Reilly should probably think about proposing to her. They're a match made in heaven. Two loud-mouthed, obnoxious, backward thinking individuals might just create a double-negative and produce normal offspring that will contribute to society.
Remember when we used to idolize people who ACTUALLY ACCOMPLISHED THINGS? When did we all of a sudden start following the lady at the drive-thru (Rosie), and the disgruntled cab driver(Bill)?

On first blush, yes, O'Reilly sounds like he is talking the right talk; on second blush, and careful listening (on the radio, on the road) I found him thoroughly flawed.
I am not a fan of point and shot! Mr. O'Reilly did not and does not inspire much confidence to my ear.
As far as "truth" in politics, yes I believe we have some truths and many fabrications or perhaps we can call them distortions. If you remember, I've posted I've worked both in politics and the government--spin is not truth; truth is more complex!

I think the agenda for many of these talking heads is their personal bottom line, period.

For that lady, being gay isn't just what she is, or what she likes to do - it's something to belong to.
I usually find that I don't care much for such people. Joiners, I mean.

Your correct, for Rosie a personal vendetta against Bush regarding gay marriage has escalated into this. I believe she tried to adopt a child in Florida and she was rejected. Her grudge goes beyond the President but also to Jeb. If the people who look up to her on her show realized what was really going on maybe they would reconsider.

I've had tons of gay friends. But, they don't try to tell me about it all the time. I don't bore them with the intimate details of my life.

She was prolly rejected for other obvious reasons and it most likely had nothing to do with her sexual preference here. She is full of anger...not good for children. Not good for anyone near her really.
