I'm curious!

The Repo's aka Republican's say that they stand with God.

Please explain to me why they are better than the Democrats!

Please don't get this started, neither party can claim God is on their side. There are plenty of good Christians in both parties and many that want nothing to do with either party. I would hope that the third option grows to be the majority some day.

Neither do completely. I'd say the republican party is generally closer aligned.

Both use God to advance, defend, and legitimize their their parties' respective interests. With that said, I believe the Republicans play the God card more. Playing said card can be very effective or very silly as he is either the Ace in the deck or the Joker depending on your personal beliefs.

The Evangelicals are the backbone of the Republican Party and have been for decades.

Take them out of the picture, and you will have a more diverse Republican Party whose main goals are lower taxes, limited government, and fiscal responsibility.

Quite so, but the evangelicals began distancing themselves from the Neocons in 2006, and continue to do so.
