Palin filed one of those charges against herself, and it has proven to be the most expensive one to date. Talk about personal destruction...
She rose to power pointing her finger at others for being unethical, while frequently doing the same thing she accused her opponents of doing. That type of behavior tends to brings on extra scrutiny. She told her constituents to hold her accountable and that's what happening.
It's the same thing with her personal life. She holds herself up to be an example of a 'true Christian." When tidbits come out about her life that show she is not as perfect as she purports to be, they are pounced on. These same items would be shrugged off if happening to someone who didn't hold themselves up as an example to lesser mortals.
It's not the behavior, it"s the hypocrisy. Americans love to take down windbags...especially easy targets like Palin...
