Eeeek. Oh, please - did NO ONE see this coming? (Of course our legislators didn't.) The fact that two years ago my next door neighbor (not in NE) was diagnosed with a virulent strain of tuberculosis, and the first question out of the doctor's mouth was - "Had any illegal immigrants unloading your trucks?" - proved to me that the physicians, CDC, and government know that the illegals are bringing their infections with them across the borders - and nothing will be done. Because the neighbor/truck driver couldn't PROVE that he got the infection from illegals unloading his trucks, worker's comp wouldn't pay a dime, and he was out of work and in isolation for 6 months while they gave him a cocktail of meds to control the disease. You can't cure it - it is always there and meds must be taken the rest of the victim's life to control it. But hey, who cares - what's one less truck driver? or 50? or 100? We NEED the illegals to "do the work Americans won't".
This is only the beginning - and the fact that we found out about it at all is amazing. There won't be any shutdown of the border - after all, people can't help being sick, it's not their fault. We'll send billions to Mexico now as well as workers to help them overcome this - while they sneak in our back doors and spread it, without ever being stopped or called to take responsibility.
You will notice that our idiot government will not close the borders though. There should not be any crossing allowed until this disease is contained. But of course, it seems that our government cares more about Mexico and Mexicans than they do for their own citizens, as have been proven over the last couple of decades.
It seems I'm going to have to post this about every 5th post.

No concerts, schools are closed, etc. trying to shut it down. Just one Illegal carrying this across will be disastrous. IMO it's things like this that we stick troops on the border to make sure no one sneaks in.
Indeed. Unfortunately, we can look forward to weeks of spinning and the playing of the blame game courtesy of mexico, the IA's and their supporters.
Now is not the time for the apologists and Mexican nativists to make excuses for their beloved Mexico. Now is the time to make sure their relatives aren't hoofing it across the border killing everyone they come into contact with here.
They are already trying to blame it on the US (double forehead smack), who cares where it came from, let's control it and leave it in Mexico.

Agreed. But then, it didn't stop them for blaming America for their illegal alien tax draining invasion from SOB. So what if there's a possibility of a couple more hundred or so Americans that die because of their illegal presence. After all, better us than them right?
Just one PERSON.
Doesn't matter if it's illegal.
sheesh.
