I got an e-mail the other day that I haven't fully investigated yet which stated that gun control in the UK was a thirty year process and started something like this HR45 bill.

I wonder if the home invasion type criminals will have their guns registered?
I wonder if they will break in, then count to 20 to give you time to unlock your firearm then say "ready or not here I come".....

As I've said before: Ted Kennedy's car has killed more people than any of my firearms......

I got an email about this myself this morning. It looks like most Americans will become criminals, I might be on that list too .

I think the basic problem is some people, many of them liberals, think physically harming a person is never justified. They seem to believe that it is never justified to fight back. They even say fighting back will get you hurt worse. They teach their kids not to fight back. That is their opinion. IMHO it is not a fact. In my experience it is not a fact.

AFAIAC - if someone threatens to do me physical harm, I am pre-justified to use whatever means necessary, including counter violence, to stop the assault. When I was young a quarter staff stopped an assault. Now that I am getting older and slower, I do not think I could stop an assault if I was unarmed (a quarterstaff will not do) and I am not willing to take a beating or get killed because some people believe fighting back is bad. I believe in fighting back whenever possible even if it means killing the person that attacked me. The law calls that ‘justifiable homicide” because it realizes that a person does have a right to fight back.

This is why I support an individual right to be armed with a gun wherever I go. I even object to “gun free zones” because I do not trust anyone else to defend me or people I am responsible for.
