just a questioin. I bet no one can come up with a single right that a straight person has that a gay person does not. the marriage argument doesn't work. gays have the same rights as straight people when it comes to marriage.

I like how these wingnuts threads start out by defining the terms of the debate. As if they can mandate that.

He says the marraige argument doesnt work. Because gays can marry someone of the opposite sex just like heteros........how clever and big of you!

That should make all the gays feel better now.

Sort of like those garbage trucks in Ft. Lauderdale that advertise free snow removal.

so you can't name one. just like I thought. I didn't lay out terms for a debate. I asked you to name a right a straight person had that a gay person did not. you can't do it, so you refer to an individual as a "wingnut." whatever the hell a "wingnut" is.

Well, since you won't accept the marriage issue as a basis for argument - he/she has the right the openly admit his/her sexual preference and still remain in the military.

you can make the marriage argument, but it doesn't really work. a gay man can't marry a man, a straight man can't marry a man. a gay man can marry a woman, a straight man can marry a woman.

How about a consenting gay couple cannot marry? A consenting heterosexual couple can.
