I do know that and that should be corrected, but not overcorrected. Pay should be equal.

It's about the child....not about the woman to some of us. Many women are pro-life as well. And, for those like me who have a moderate conservative stance on abortion as opposed to an extreme RW stance, it's about balancing the rights of the woman AND the child AND the child's father.

I disapprove of men who have repeated series of one-night stands. I believe that sex belongs in a committed relationship only...this applies both ways.

I disapprove of men who behave in the manner you're discussing.

Yes, which was close to 60 years before I was even born and likely long before you were born either. It would deeply, deeply disturb me if women's right to vote was taken away.

You don't think that men are judged at least somewhat on their looks as well?

Agreed (for the most part). We've gone over the abortion thing ad naseum, so I'm just going to agree to disagree on that Regarding the stereotypes, I don't agree with it either but many still do, and that's what we're trying to change.

I know that some men are judged on looks, but with women it's FAR greater. For the most part, if you're a woman and applying for a job, regardless of qualifications the more physically attractive woman will get hired. I've seen it done on multiple occasions with women but rarely with men. I was an assistant manager at a quick lube place for a while and trust me... I heard all types. "She's a cow, no way we're hiring her" and "Do you REALLY want to look at that for 40 hours a week??" I don't condemn all men for those guys' actions but it does take a toll.

And yes, women should absolutely not have MORE rights than men... Unfortunately in some cases we don't even have equality to men, so once we get to that level I can guarantee you many of the extreme womens rights groups will dissolve.

Ah, I see. Well, you can't change the world, but you can control your own personal world. If you really feel like men's rights need to be addressed, then start or join a group. Nothing will change, otherwise.
