The percent of people who support Obama is still much higher than the percent who disapprove - it's not really changing either way.

HOWEVER, the percent who are likely to vote Republican in 2010 congressional elections is slowly increasing and is very similar to the percent who are likely to vote Democrat.

Pollster.com: 2010 National Congressional Ballot

Maybe Americans are starting to wise up to the fact that neither the GOP nor the Democratic party is trustworthy enough to have control over everything.

Again with the massive generalizations. Not all people you label as liberals are compliant Obamanots. You diminish the actions of his predecessor to mere sneezes as if he was not accountable for the sad state this nation was in at the time of the last election.

Is it partisanship? Yes, blind partisanship and stupidity. Two qualities that permeate our population and do not know any boundaries. The same question must be asked "Why do people still defend Bush?" and the answer is the same two things: blind partisanship and stupidity.

If you refuse to see that these divisions are artificial and exactly duplicated on both sides of the aisle then you are doomed to continue them. Get out of this mental spin cycle and offer up a solution. Show America what you've got. Third party anyone? Constitutional Convention anyone? Ten million people peacefully sitting down on the streets of DC refusing to let the military goad them into violence? C'mon. We can do so much better than these repetitive arguments.

A better question is : Why are you sour grape conservatives still in denial?

Your party is finished. You had 8 years and you showed yourselves to be absolute incompetents. Incredibly poor judgment too. So much so that when backwards conservatives say that Obama is doing badly, that certainly means the opposite here in modern times.

To the OP, I've criticized him a few times too and I'm liberal, ok.
Giving him a pass?
Like I said, he could be the equalivent of a 200 hitter in baseball..... (still not good).....but,
that's still a LOT better than the clown in office for 8 years before him

Fiscally, no. Socially and with military affairs, he was a neoconservative.
