What most of you are forgetting is that the administration adhered to the legal opinion of the lawyers in the Justice Dept.
No one directed them to make the legal opinions that they did. As they put forth their legal opinions, Condi relayed that information to the relevant folks.
She did not create the opinion, although I'm sure she agreed with it.

If Democrats think that this should be outlawed, they now have control of EVERY branch of government, they could easily ratify the agreement within days. Instead they'd rather grandstand, push blame, make accusations, cause an uproar, deflect from the truth, and then leave the procedures legal in the event they are needed in the future.

Nor did I think Powell or Albright, or either Clinton (smartest people in the world at one point) were as brilliant as their media fawns would have the proles think.
Most are pretty mediocre intellects at best.
Yet another proof that IQ, and Harvard on the resume, don't necessarily mean you're very bright.

This is a blatant lie, and easily proved so.
They tortured people first. They got the legal opinions second.
That the OP doesn't understand this means that she is completely unqualified to comment on the subject.
When your knowledge of history and current events is weak, Google is your friend.
I also notice that you did not ask Sanrene to prove the basis of the lie that she told. Why is that?
